Apache Terrier Mix Knightsen, CA

Hi I am Apache! I am a  2 yr old male weighing in at 25lbs. They tell me I look to be a Patterson Terrier and possibly some cattle dog too with my freckled colored legs. I bond quickly and strongly to my family but it takes me a while to warm up to people I don’t know. My favorite things include belly rubs, leaning in on your chest for kisses, and sleeping under the blankets. Did I mention I have the cutest head tilts ever when you talk to me? I am house trained and crate trained. I am learning to walk on a leash, but I still need work as I can be a little reactive when on leash. I know some basic commands.
I love my humans and don’t particularly want to share them with anybody else, so I’m best as an only pet. I am currently living with a child over 8 yrs of age and do best with older children. I would love a nice home with a backyard I can run and play in!  My foster mom tells me I’m one of her favorites and if you think I could be your favorite too, contact my friends at Rhodie’s Rescue and fill out an application!
My adoption fee is waived to a qualified family. I’ve had a health examination, current vaccinations, neuter, microchip, flea and deworming treatment along with any other medical or dental deemed necessary by our veterinarian.
