Meet Annie
Hi my name is Annie, I was found wandering around out in the country. My current fosters have no knowledge of my previous living conditions.
As far as my personality goes, I tend to be very high strung and anxious especially when my foster's teenage children are present. Their presence has complicated my potty training with my anxiety. Although I do sleep in my kennel all night long and only make noise if I have to go to the bathroom. During the day I hang out in my playpen if I get stressed. I will often go to my safe spaces if stressed out.
I do live with 2 foster dogs, a 50lbs husky mix and a 20lbs terrier mix and I love to play with both. My fosters have been attempting to work on my training, however I am not motivated. I love going for walks and wrestling with my foster siblings.
I am going to need a special home, most likely with our children, but would love some doggy brothers or sisters. My special somebody will need to be very patient with my training because even though I am almost 2, I am still learning to dog.
The details:
Needs fence: yes
Good with kids: no
Good with dogs: yes
Good with cats: no exposure
All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. We need an approved application on file to set up a meeting with a dog you might be interested in. You can find our application at www.aussierescuemn.com. All dogs have an adoption fee of $400 plus MN sales tax. We pride ourselves on matches that are awesome for both the dog and your family. Aussie Rescue of MN is here for support, advice and as a safety net for our dogs for the rest of their lives.
