Meet Anna
Meet Anna, around 2 years old, 50 pounds, Jindo mix gal. She is THE BEST DOG!!
Her foster shares: "Anna is a very sweet girl! We have only heard her bark 3 times in the four months we have had her. Anna is currently living with three giant breed dogs and one dog/puppy smaller than her. She has preferred to be more of a loner, but most of the time stays close to her people. Recently, Anna has started playing with the other dogs for short periods. She gets along with all the dogs, five of whom are girls and even played with the grumpy senior boy. In fact she seems to like him best! Anna is house trained and crate trained although she does not use her crate any more because she is fine being loose in the home. She enjoys lying on the porch or in the yard watching the world go by which is not very exciting since she lives on a quiet wooded short dead end street. Anna has put on some weight since being with her foster family so she is now on healthy weight dog food. Her feet are dainty and she has cute tan tipped ears and tail. Anna is not a big cuddler but always stays very close to her humans. It has been determined that Anna has Lupus effecting the hair on her nose. With medications her hair is growing back in although she may have an area of scar tissue that will not grow hair. Anna will be on medication to keep the Lupus under control and may occasionally require a course of steroids if she has a flare up. It is only on her skin and does not otherwise seem to show any symptoms. Anna is a very sweet girl and will make a perfect companion for a low to medium energy family. And she would probably enjoy not having so many “siblings.” Her foster parents have taught her only to “sit” but she would likely enjoy learning more commands. She is good on a leash and would enjoy learning more about leash walking. If you are looking for a nice quiet, faithful companion and friend Anna may be your girl!"
