Meet Andy, the adorable German Shepherd and Husky mix who's ready for a fresh start! Andy may have had a tough beginning, but he’s proven to be a smart and loving companion with a lot to offer. He has shown remarkable progress in his training and is now fully housetrained, thanks to his quick learning skills and eagerness to please.

Andy is a smaller-sized mix with a big personality, and his manners are really starting to shine. He’s already mastered commands like sit, down, and stay, and he’s working hard on “leave it.” While he still has some behaviors to work on, his overall calmer demeanor suggests he’s well on his way to becoming an excellent companion for someone experienced with shepherds who can provide consistent training and leadership.

Andy thrives on physical activity—he loves long walks (up to 5 miles a day) and still has energy to spare. He would benefit greatly from a home that can offer him the exercise and mental stimulation he craves, however with no young children or other pets is ideal. Andy is incredibly affectionate and enjoys cuddling up for belly rubs, but he needs a household without a lot of guests coming and going, where he can continue to build confidence and trust.
