Meet Amore

Periodically we partner with kill shelters in an effort to find a dog in need a much needed and deserved home. Meet Amore! She is a beautiful 4-5 year old white German shepherd. Amore is really struggling in the shelter environment and needs out asap because she is danger of losing her life.

Amore is looking for a low stress home without children or other pets. She has become dog reactive in the kennels during her stay. She was not reactive when she first arrived. Some dogs struggle particularly in shelter environments unfortunately. A calm, loving home where she has time to decompress will work wonders for her.

Amore is fun, loving, and gentle. She loves people and loves to play in the pool and go for walks. She has lovely leash manners. Amore is a staff favorite! Sadly, she is heart worm positive but the owning shelter will provide treatment for free.
