NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS - NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
NEW INTAKE 12/11/2024: Amora - female - approx 12+ years old - 3.12 pounds - Poodle
Reason for intake: We were tagged in a post on Facebook by a groomer helping a lady to rehome her poodle. We reached out to the groomer and she put us in touch with the owner. Sadly, the owner and her husband are going through some major health issues and just could not take care of her any longer. Amora is a tiny, petite little girl. She needs a dental and spay so she's heading to our vet the week of 12/16/2024, for everything she needs. She is current on vaccinations and has had a Proheart 12 which is good through October 2025. Stay tuned!
NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.416768288349589&type=3 OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Be responsible ~ Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life. Blessings.
