Amber Black and Tan Coonhound Neillsville, WI

Meet Amber! Amber was surrendered to CCHS with her sister Goldie and brother Hunter when their family had an unexpected litter of puppies and couldn't find homes for them. Amber is a Black & Tan Coonhound, and as such she has a short-haired black and tan coat. She is definitely a Hound with very long and soft ears and mellow warm brown eyes. She is 4 months old now (date of birth 7/24/24) and weighs 25#. Amber has a pleasant outlook on life and has the typical Hound attitude of not letting things bother her. She is a friendly and happy girl. We do expect she'll do some more growing yet as she does have some pretty good-sized paws. But that will just mean more of her to love! The adoption fee is $400. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
