will be around 35 lbs when she full grown

Amber's personality:
Timid / Skittish / Loves dogs / No aggression issue /
takes couple days to warm up in new place / Loves food


• Dogs : OK, she loves to have a doggy sibling at home but a bit scare of big dog outside .

• Cats : not sure

• Kids OK, but prefer no kids under 12 years old .

• NO separation anxiety

• Chewing Issue--- NO

• Not a barker .

• Medium energy level----she needs to exercise at least one hour / twice a day . Loves go out for walks, loves to run and play with dogs but scare of big dog .need more socialized training

• Food motivated for training

• 90 % Potty trained - new families still need to work on house training her.


Amber 's story:

"Amber " was rescued from a landfill in Taiwan when she was 2 months old .
Someone abandoned her and her 6 siblings there ,

She is a bit shy and timid with new people but friendly to all people, kids, and dogs after warm up .

She Loves to run and play with people and dogs , so it’s important that her new family understands her energy level, and can provide proper training and exercise.

"Amber " had "Babesia Canin" test Positive on
Dec-09-2021 when just rescued . After finished treatment and re-test blood test , now shows Negative .

Amber is up to date on vaccinations, has a microchip, and all her blood tests are normal. X-ray checkup shows her hips are normal( but still growing , might be changing )

She’s a healthy girl.

We are looking for a very loving family that fits the following criteria:

• Only adopted to Lower mainland B.C.

• Must be an experienced dog owner .

• Prefer a home with a fenced yard will be great .

• A family that won’t leave her alone for extended periods of time (less than
5 hours).

• A family without kids under 12 years old.

• Must allow dogs on furniture and bed.

• "Amber " loves a gentle doggy sibling at home . If new family has another same personality dog will be great .

• You are committed to feeding her high-quality dog food.-- Raw / home made /high quality kibbles.

• Can provide puppy training and at least 2 hours exercise a day.

• You are committed to provide a forever loving home to " Amber ".


Adoption process:
1. Complete the adoption application form:
a. Please seriously consider your level of commitment.
b. Please read requirements before you start the application.
2. Phone interview.
3. Home check and meet up with Vodka. Please note: after completing the adoption process, including a home check, we do not guarantee the dog you have applied for will be offered to you to adopt. The home check gives you and our volunteers an opportunity to decide if your home and this dog are a good match. We may require several home checks to find the best match, and our team of volunteers review all the information acquired in the process to help dogs and families find the best fit for each adoption.
4. If the adoption is approved, future follow-ups with " Save A Life Society "will be required.
