*PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt out on a first-come/first-serve basis. Applications are accepted for a dog and then a home check is scheduled. If there are multiple applications for a dog, after all home checks are done, the dog is adopted out to the home that is the best fit for that dog.

Hey ALL!  My name is Alvin and I am the very best boy just waiting to find my happily furever after home! From the tip of my adorable nose to the tips of my adorable toes, I am one adorable boy!  I am known as a social butterfly, just waiting to spread a little happiness wherever I might go!  Want to know a little about me???  I am a play, play, play kinda pup but when playtime is done...I am all in for the snuggles.  I want you to know that I am an equal-opportunity snuggler with humans and other canines, too!  I am good in my crate and working very hard at learning all the things I need to know so I can be the best new member of the family!  So a home with plenty of love, some patience, and some time to keep working on my home life skills would be perfect for me!  If you would like to meet me, please fill out a pre adoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quickly as they can!

**The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525, which includes getting the puppy up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***
