Meet Alvie
Meet Alvie!
Alvie came to AWS from Jefferson County Animal Control after he was taken to them as a stray. It was discovered that he wasn't a stray so the owner returned and surrendered him. We took him in to help find him a forever home.
He is currently about 1 year old. He is a American Bully/Pitbull/Boxer mix. He is about medium size.
A home with a fenced in yard where he can run off his energy would be the best for him.
Alvie would do best in a home without toddlers or babies. He is very high energy, still young, and doesn't realize that jumping isn't okay. He seems to do well with dogs that can handle his energy, but is too much for older dogs. Needs a home without cats.
With Alvie's breed mixes, an EXPERIENCED dog owner will be best for him. He isn't recommended for a first time dog owner. Getting him proper training will also benefit him in the long run! An active home/family is a plus for him as well. He is not a laidback, couch potato pup!
