Meet Aluma! This shy little sweetheart is one of the litter puppies that was left out in the country, outside in a cage, for someone to find. After two hours a kind woman noticed that the puppies were still there so she brought them to our pet rescue. Local citizens are our rescue heroes! She is shy at the moment, but we know with a safe and loving home, lots of kisses, and cuddles, she will blossom into a wonderful family pet. She will love stuffed toys, chew toys, squeaky toys, fleecy blankets to snuggle on.
We know puppies learn quickly and adapt to new environments. It won't take a kind and patient person long to house train this little darling and show her how to walk on a leash. It's always a good idea to enroll your puppy in puppy kindergarten, to learn good dog manners. Be ready to rush her outside several times a day (maybe even every hour) until she learns to potty outside. One or two nighttime potty visits are also advisable. Most of all, be ready to reassure her with lots of love and kisses that you are there for her in every way. Can you picture yourself taking this little one with you as you run errands?
