In the gentle twilight of my golden years, I am on the lookout for a home where I can bask in companionship with love and understanding. I'm Alice, as a 14 year old Dachshund, ready to settle into retirement with a cozy dog bed and a warm lap to call my own. I’m a laid-back girl who loves to lounge and take it easy, but don’t let my age fool you—I’ve still got a lot of love to give. I’ve earned the right to do things my way! My human doesn’t mind handling any little potty messes—comes with the territory. I don’t need a kennel anymore either because I know how to keep out of trouble. Most of the time, I’m pretty laid back, but don’t be fooled—I’ve still got a little sass and spunk to keep everyone on their toes! My hearing and vision aren’t what they used to be, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying the simple things in life—like cuddling up with my favorite person. I get along with other dogs and cats and older kids who could give me my space. A home with a fenced a yard would be ideal. I’d thrive in a calm and quiet home, preferably with someone who’s around most of the time to keep me company and let me out when I need to go. I don’t need a crate; I’m perfectly content to find a soft spot to rest and relax. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion to share your days with, I might just be the perfect match for you!

PS...I will always need wet food because I have had dental work done recently and have 3 teeth left. What can I say....it's just good to be here!

My adoption fee is $75 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
