Algebra Black and Tan Coonhound & Doberman Pinscher Mix Lake Placid, FL

Algebra spent his life in a plywood box, in the hot florida sun, he was forced to lay in his own urine he had to have some surgery to correct the damage from urine burns. When he could no longer stand he was dumped at a high kill animal control facility, his back legs so stiff, the hunters said he was useless...they said he was old...that was their excuse for his stiff body and emaciated condition....he also had a flesh wound from a bullet. He is in great health now.

He is a great companion and attaches mostly to one person. He is very affectionate to his person, once he knows they are his friend.

He likes girl dogs and wants to play w other male dogs but is too dominant so he would be best in a home where he is the only dog.

Because of the cruelty he endured and because he was used ( abused) as a hunting dog he would be best in a quiet home.

all adopters must have a securely fenced yard, be a stable home owner and have a past pet who a veterinarian can verify you took good care of.
