Meet Alex
Alex is looking for a BEST friend. She's okay in a small family with or without dogs. When in public she usually just sits right by my side with no complaints. She's happy being with her family.
She's an adventurer and water lover. She requires extra mental stimulation or she will be bored. Loves sights and sounds. Very gentle. Old dog in a puppy body! Loves kisses. More so independent than clingy. Likes to bring your shoes to your face in the mornings to help you get ready for the day.
She would not do well with noisy or playful children. They would need to know not to get in her face when she's trying to relax or decompress
She would be a great first or second dog for a young active couple and a great companion for an older, less active family if they have another dog in the home and space for her to explore.
