Aldi Dachshund & Black Labrador Retriever Mix Kentwood, MI

Meet Aldi, she's a shy but sweet girl from Alabama. She's 18 lbs with this being her adult weight. Her estimated birthday is 4/15/24, she is fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She's potty trained but coming from a warm state she's not fond of the cold and snow so if it's too much for her outside she will use puppy pads. She has been with me for about a month so I've been able to learn her emotions and behavior. Aldi is very much a woman's dog and bonds quickly with them but takes time and patience to warm up to men. She would be best in a home with no other animals as she can get easily frightened and territorial when other animals are around. She would be best in a home without children, she will allow my 10 year old grandson to pet her as long as he moves slowly and under supervision but she's on high alert when kids and men are around. Aldi has some trust and confidence issues to work through but she's still a very sweet lovable lap dog when she warms up and trusts. Aldi has the sweetest face and when you look in her eyes you can just see all the love and tenderness in her. We are not quite sure her breed but we're quite sure she's got Daschund in her. Aldi is ready for her perfect home that will have patience as she learns to love and trust and become the perfect girl she's became with us.
