DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Adele! This sweet Georgia girl is looking for her forever home. She is your typical sweet big pup who loves others dogs and people. Adele prefers a more rural home (did not do well in foster in DC) and without a lot of in and out traffic in the home. She LOVES to play and is great in her crate, so if she can find the right home to work through her quirks, she could be the great fit. She would do best in a home with older children or teens. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly and is very food motivated! Adele also knows how to use a doggy door. Could yours be the home of Adele's dreams? Submit an application today!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org.
