Keep in mind, we are two women with full time jobs, we volunteer to run this Rescue and foster these dogs in our homes. We have families and farms of our own we take care of as well. We will give you all the time we can but, ask for your patience and attention to detail to make the application process flow smoothly and as quickly as possible.

Addy is a recent owner surrender. This is what they had to say about her;

We have had Addy for 6 years. We got her as a rescue dog when she was two years old. We were told she had been crated for many hours a day and possibly abused. She is somewhat nervous,but has made great progress since we’ve had her. She is very sweet and thinks she is a lap dog! She is very smart - she knows the following commands: sit, lie down, shake, and speak. She knows go outside;want breakfast; and want dinner and go wait at the door. . She is very possessive and loyal to her people. She is a Italian greyhound/doberman mix - a very unusual combination! We are needing to rehome her because we just can’t give her the attention she needs. We are traveling all the time and gone a lot. She needs way more exercise than we can provide. Her anxiety I much better when she fully exercises. We think a single pet home would be best as she seems a little too curious about cats and small dogs (?) although she’s never been around them for an extended period so she may be fine.
She seems to NOT love little dogs, however, she has stayed at an in-home doggy daycare that a friend of mine owns and has been around the upwards of 10 to 15 dogs at a time. The owner says she does fine with a mix of both little and big dogs. She says it usually takes her 18 to 24 hours to settle down from being nervous and then she is absolutely fine. The last time that she went there, it took her even less time. I wouldn’t trust her around a cat, based on how she acts when she sees one through the window.
