Achilles Rottweiler Lincoln, NE

MARR covers Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Wisconsin. Achilles is being fostered in IA currently. However, transportation is available for adoptions within our coverage area.
Achilles is a great boy! Hes a friendly, engaging, playful and sweet 2 year old male Rottweiler.
Achilles joined MARR as a stray and spent way too long in boarding. While there, he was extremely friendly with people and dogs big and small. They tell us that nothing seemed to bother him and he played well in groups as long as all males were altered. His current Foster family tells us he does ok with their altered male but prefers their female dog. Achilles is very sweet and wants to cuddle all the time; he is engaging and playful.
Achilles is good on the leash but could use more training, he sometimes pulls but is easily corrected. He is an intelligent boy; sits well and can wait before eating his food. He is working on down. This Good Boy is food driven and very trainable, he was lured into a down easily with a treat (which he took gently). Achilles has not shown separation anxiety nor food aggression but will interrupt another dog while eating so his Foster feeds him separately from their other dogs. He does well at the Vet, is potty trained, crate trained, neutered, HW Negative and UTD on immunizations.
Achilles has not been around young children or cats but has a high prey drive so cats are not recommended. He is doing well with the teenagers in his new Foster home so they think older children, 10+, are best for Achilles. He is such a great boy all around, Achilles will make a great companion!
