Meet ACE
Volunteer notes, 7/9/24: Ace is a great dog. Expect some puppy behaviors. He could use some training but he gets so excited to get out and be with people. He loves to run, likes to be pet, and will give kisses. Once he's on the leash, he is very good. Volunteer notes, 5/29/24: Ace was excited to get out of his kennel but did not react to the other dogs as he walked past them. Once in the play yard he was a little shy, but warmed up with some encouragement. He accepted pets and seemed affectionate and playful. He would benefit from some training on his jumping/mouthiness, which do seem normal for his age. He knows sit so hes off to a good start! He has a beautiful, soft, black-and-white cookie coat and sweet eyes to match. I wish I may, I wish I might, get adopted before tonight! Ace is all smiles because the weekend is here and he's wishing and hoping to start it in his new forever home. This sweet 2 year old boy was surrendered for no fault of his own...simply due to circumstances in his prior home. But his owner shared that Ace is housetrained, was kept indoors, is good with kids, playful with other pets, and was spoiled. One of our volunteers shared her observations saying, Ace was excited to get out of his kennel but did not react to the other dogs as he walked past them. Once in the play yard he was a little shy, but warmed up with some encouragement. He accepted pets and seemed affectionate and playful. He would benefit from some training to curb his jumping/mouthiness, which do seem normal for his age. He knows sit so hes off to a good start! He has a beautiful, soft, black-and-white cookie coat and sweet eyes to match. Ace is waiting to meet you at BAS and he promises to be your 100% best friend. Volunteer notes, 7/3/24: Ace jumps a lot. He has puppy behaviors such as chewing, but he's very loving. Likes to be pet, and wants to be a lap dog. Has energy. Will follow you when walking in the yard.
