Foster notes (06/02/24): Quick Facts: We (the fosters) are located in Burlington, NC, but are willing to travel to you to meet and later adopt - we do not want that to be a barrier for folks. There is no adoption fee. Abby is: - At least 10 years old - A spayed female - Up to date on all vaccinations - Yellow/tan/white labrador retriever mix - Forty-seven pounds - Low energy/low maintenance - Completely house trained! - LOVES loves loves physical touch, cuddling, and quality time - Loyal, sensitive, and protective - Great with children and babies - Abby (fondly Abi) might be pet selective. She lived most of her life with other pets, and did well in her current home with three dogs and cats when she was first taken home (see notes above). Recently, she has stopped getting along with the other pets in the home, so she may be at a point where she is pet selective or else needs a home just to herself.
