Meet Abby

Abby is most likely a Doberman mix and she came to us from an animal shelter in April. She was briefly adopted but one of the owners discovered she was very allergic and couldn't keep her. Abby is a little under one year old so she is full of energy and needs lots of guidance as well as training. She has been friendly with people but can also be a lot to handle physically despite her small size so small kids could be easily overwhelmed. Abby does share a kennel with a large, male dog but she does NOT meet dogs well. She will need an experienced owner to facilitate any dog introductions in a controlled environment so she is not a candidate for going to dog parks. She may be able to live with a large, male dog but no female dogs or small dogs.
