Meet Hudson!

Hudson is a 5-year-old, natural-docked Doberman who has been patiently waiting for his forever home since arriving at DRU in August 2023 due to housing changes. When he first came to us, he was carrying a few extra pounds, but with time, exercise, and plenty of activity, he's slimmed down into a strong, handsome boy!

Hudson is active and loves playing with his jolly ball in the yard and going on long walks-he could walk for miles! He has good leash manners and would thrive with someone who enjoys staying active and can provide consistency while continuing his training.

In his previous home, Hudson lived with a cat, but given his interest in squirrels and chipmunks, any introductions to feline friends would need to be slow and carefully managed. He may also do well with a friendly female dog, given the right match.

Hudson has become a staff favorite at DRU, always eager to offer his paw for a biscuit-even when no one asks! His affectionate personality and striking good looks make him more than ready to find a loving home.
