My name is Sophie. I came in the the rescue a few months ago with the worst skin and I was so miserable. I was given to a family when my breeder was done with me and they tried to help but it required more than they were able to do. I am all cleared up now and its not something that will return but I do have to lasting effects which you can see when you meet me. Most of me looks great now but my stomach still has some leathery feeling spots.

Are you missing a best friend in your life? Miss Sophie is ready to fill that position! She is all about companionship, from greeting you excitedly every time you come home, to hanging out in yard playing fetch, to cuddling on the couch together, she's all in. Sophie is a 5 year old little lady weighing about 25 pounds. She loves her people, kids included, and is also a friend to kitties. As of now, she prefers to be the only dog, but may coexist with another dog in the home with slow introductions and time to adjust. She's a big fan of car rides and loves to tag along wherever you need to go. She's been to the farmer's market and other outings and absolutely basks in any attention she receives from people.
