#2962 Fitch Chesapeake Bay Retriever Germantown, TN

Fitch is an 8 year old, dark brown Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He is a large boy at 115 pounds and needs an active person that will work with him. Fitch has lived the majority of his life outside and in a kennel. His manners and leash skills could use some improvement.

Fitch was surrendered to the shelter by his owner. His family had moved into a new home that would not allow Fitch to live outside. We're hoping Fitch can find a home that will make him part of their family. He is a dominant male and gets along well with female dogs, however, Fitch is not cat-friendly. Due to his size, we also don't recommend Fitch being in a home with small children.

Fitch is heartworm positive and his treatment is included in our adoption fee. Fitch has been neutered, is current on vaccinations and on heartworm preventative. Please stop by the shelter to see him today!
