Zena Dilute Calico Mix Lubbock, TX

This sweetie is Zena!
She is a female, short-haired, dilute calico, and is approximately 1 year old.

She was initially rescued, along with her brother and sister, as part of a TNR, but all 3 kitties were so sweet, affectionate, and hilariously playful that they decided to leave the outside behind them and find their forever indoor homes instead!

Zena is a very sweet and happy girl! She is very affectionate. She likes attention and having her back scratched. She enjoys yummy treats, watching birds from the window, and playing with her brother and sister. She goes crazy for toy mice and pom-poms!

Zena has food insecurities, which means she feels like food will stop existing or every meal might be her last. This can occur when a cat doesn't have regular access to food in their formative months as a kitten. Because of this, Zena can get a bit kooky at feeding time. Specifically, lots of urgent meowing, she may knock the food bowl around, make a mess, gulp her food, and make growly nom-nom noises while she eats. She has made improvements thus far and does best being fed separate from others. With time and the opportunity of being able to free feed, her food issues may dissappear altogether. Other than that, she is a great girl! She is social, curious, and talkative. She will definitely ask you for attention and pets! Zena is currently eating Purina ONE Sensitive Skin and Stomach Dry Cat Food.
