Zak and Zara make a wonderful pair – they thrive in each other’s company and would be happiest in a calm home with no dogs or young children. With time, patience, and a little love, they’ll reward you with companionship that’s as heartwarming as it is special.

Zara is the ultimate laid-back lady! This gentle, relaxed kitty isn’t fazed by much, except for the occasional loud noise or an unexpected wake-up call from a cozy nap. She’s the most chill cat her foster family has ever known, loving to snuggle up under blankets or sit by the window to enjoy a little bird-watching. Zara absolutely adores her brother, Zander, and the two of them are inseparable, often playing chase, wrestling, or curling up together. Laser pointers and quiet cuddle sessions are her favorites, making her the perfect companion for a calm, low-activity home with 1-2 people.

Zak may take a little longer to trust, but with patience and Churu treats, he’s starting to let his sweet side show. Once wary of pets, he now enjoys gentle head and ear scritches (especially when he’s snacking!). A quiet, understanding home will help Zak continue to feel safe and secure, allowing him to slowly build a bond with his new human. Zak adores watching birds and squirrels from his windowsill, and he absolutely shines in the presence of other cats.
