Hi, my name is Xenomorph. I promise I'm not an actual alien, though--I'm a cat! Just a sweet black adult girl kitty with no baby aliens hitching a ride in my chest, I promise! Now, I'm not thrilled about being picked up, but I will make a great sit-next-to-you cat, which is a pretty good compromise, I think. I like to be pet, and I'm playful, too--though if you do too much, you might get a playful (no claws out) swat from me so that you stay in line. And again, I am NOT a secret alien trying to infiltrate any ship or anything. I am a cat. Promise! (You're not named Ripley, are you? Just checking.)

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
