Meet Wednesday
Meet Wednesday!! She is an approximately 2.5-year-old, medium sized Domestic Short Hair looking for her forever home.
She is litterbox trained and she does not have any special needs, but she is looking for a special person to bring her home. Wednesday's ideal home is with a family that will appreciate her quirks and be content to let her live in their space and interact with humans on her own terms.
This girl was born out in the elements and bred at a very young age. A good Samaritan was feeding her and her first baby, Tigger, and providing them shelter during inclement weather. Unfortunately, Tigger was killed by a stray dog and her caretaker was devastated by the loss. So when Wednesday showed up pregnant again and ultimately gave birth to two new kittens (Marble and Muffin), she reached out to us for help. We took Wednesday, and her two kittens in and they were all 3 slightly anti-social. Muffin was eventually moved to a foster home where she had more one on one attention, and recently god adopted. Wednesday and Marble stayed together. We believe they would both adjust to being separated, but they do love each other, and would love to stay together, too. Wednesday is not extremely fond of physical interaction with humans. She can be handled and petted, but she will give a half-hearted hisses depending on her mood. She gives the cutest meows when she sees you coming with food, though. She loves to perch up high and observe.
Wednesday has had limited interactions with other cats and should be fine in a home with other cats. We also believe she would do well in a home with dogs, given the appropriate introductions and time to adjust. She would do best in a home without young children due to her skepticism of humans.
