Waffle came to us from a hoarding situation and she was quite sick. Our medical staff has worked diligently to nurse her back to health, but she will have some conditions that will require life-long management. If you meet her though, I know you'll agree, she's worth it. Waffle has a polyp in her left ear which is a little growth that needs cleaned. This cannot be removed surgically without damaging her eardrum which would be very painful, but as long as you're comfortable with ear cleaning, that's all there is to it!

As is the case with many hoarding cases, some of the other cats in the home were positive for FIP. Waffle has digestive issues on and off, so she is currently on FortiFlora which is a little powder probiotic you can put in wet food and cats love it. She can be sent home with some!

We understand that this is a lot to ask, but Waffle is such a special little lady. She has the cutest meow, and her lip frequently gets stuck on her tooth. She absolutely adores pets and will flop right over for you. She will also circle you like a shark to obtain all the pets she can. She loves to play with balls and crinkly toys. We just know that her perfect home is out there waiting!!

Waffle has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the $35 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $5.
