Meet Vinny
Shelter Hours
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 7pm-9pm: Visitation Only
Wednesday: 7pm-8:30pm: Visitation Only
Weekend Hours by Appointment Only.
Please call the shelter at 344-8808 to make these arrangements.
Vinny will tickle your funny bone and purrovide you with endless chuckles with his adorable antics and darling purrsonality. Sweet and affectionate, Vinny was left abandoned in an apartment. Thankfully he was found by a Good Samaritan and brought to AHS!
Vinny received the vet care he needed, was neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV and then needed some time to recover from a kitty cold. But now he is ready & raring to find his purrever home.
Vinny is a youngster who is around 2 years old. He is dynamic, lovable and really enjoys the companionship of people. He is a bit of a trip hazard as he LOVES to do figure eights of love around your legs! Therefore we would purrefer he chooses a home without elders or others who may be fragile with walking. Our goal is to purrvent any mishaps!
Vinny continues to learn how to interact with his fellow cat buddies and understand their boundaries within the shelter setting. Sometimes that can be overwhelming, but Vinny is a shining light who brings so much delight who also gets ameowzing height!
Vinny will benefit from having a home with purrevious cat experience and understands how to interact to prevent overstimulation. He can be nippy sometimes and it is of absolute importance that body language is understood.
Purrlease ensure you have purrmission to have a cat where you live before considering adoption!
AHS will also purrovide behavioral support for the transition and more to ensure that everyone feels secure with the adoption.
Our adoption agreement prohibits declawing an adopted cat, and stipulates that the cat will be returned to us if the adoption does not work out. This also applies if the adopter is no longer able to keep the cat or is able to purrovide him/her with the necessary healthcare to maintain a healthy and happy life.
For the first 30 days, cats who do not work out in their new homes may be returned for a refund or exchanged for another, more suitable, cat.
