Meet Vickie
Vickie was the long time pet and companion of a retired veterinarian. Unfortunately, her owner had to go into long term care. She has been home waiting on her owner to return with intermittent care only, but, now, she is needing a new forever home. She has learned to be independent, but needs her person in order to learn to be a needed companion again.
She has done great with caregivers coming in and socializing her more and more and is coming out of her shell, getting used to more and more attention and pets!
She needs a home where she can get all the attention she deserves to live out her senior years in comfort. Vickie is around 13-14 yrs old
