Vickie Domestic Short Hair St. Louis, MO

This 13 year old, 13 pound senior found herself at the shelter when her owner had to move into assisted living. She was really struggling at the shelter, and luckily we were able to get her into a foster home. Here is what her foster has to say so far:
"Vickie is doing really well! She still hasn't met our cats because we wanted her to be trusting in us, but she's been making strides recently. She comes up to us when she wants affection, she's very open about when she's hungry, lol. She's super sweet, and she hasn't nipped at us or even tried to bite us, she just establishes boundaries by meowing. She's very gentle, and she is now eating a mix of wet food and dry food.
This week, Vickie went to the groomers, she got a bath, nail trim, brush, the whole nine yards! She loved it too!
I'm hoping she will be adopted! She deserves that second chance at a forever home, she just takes a long time getting use to you."
