Vanilla Cappuccino Siamese & Domestic Short Hair Mix Cookeville, TN

Hello. My name is Vanilla Cappuccino, but you can just call me Vanilla for short. I was living outside and being offered food by a nice lady in the neighborhood. For a small cat, I had a very large belly, but never had kittens. When the lady asked for Ms Tana to help with all the strays in the neighborhood, I was trapped and taken in for spay, etc. It turned out I had a uterus full of fluid. It was 2 pounds of my body weight. If I had not been spayed, I probably would have eventually died outside. I have had a rough time after that spay and a nasty upper respiratory infection. Turns out I also have a heart murmur that was rated a 3 out of 6 at the time my vet exam was done. I'm a dainty little girl who is going to need a strictly indoor home that is low chaos and low stress. So, I would not do well in a home with children or a lot of in and out company or a lot of change. I need to be in a stable, routine environment with mature adults as my caretakers and best friends always watching out for me.

I should probably have a vet exam every six months so the DVM can listen with a stethoscope and keep a good record of my heart murmur. The vet will likely recommend an echocardiogram (ultrasound of heart) every year, for more detailed information. I may also need bloodwork and a blood pressure check every year for best health record maintenance. Ms Tana cannot really afford all the extras of special needs kitties since she already takes care of so many. So, I hope and pray there is someone out there who will want to be my human angel to love me and take the best care of me for the rest of my life. I'm a sweet girl who did not trust anyone initially. I would hiss and defensively scratch if anyone or any other cat got too close to me. But now I just really want to be accepted as part of the Feline Felicity household and for Ms Tana to give me as much one on one tlc time and attention as she possibly can. Are you the special person who will give me a chance to be the little feline love of your life? I can do it. I would love to meet you and prove how wonderful a kitty I can be. We could make each other's lives better every day we share together.

Please no dogs. They scare me, and rather than avoid them, I will try to attack them which can make even cat-friendly dogs react defensively and attack back. Also, no young children, including frequently visiting grandkids, etc. I need very experienced, patient, empathetic, understanding people who are familiar with both feral and special needs felines please.

I am spayed, combo tested negative, fvrcp and rabies vaccinated, internal and external parasite free, and microchipped -- all ready to be home with you.
