Hi, my name is Usher, and I am fabulous. I have a fluffy, soft, white/orange coat, the envy of all around me. I'm about two years old. I look big and imposing, but, I'm the sweetest, most gentle cat you'll ever meet. Sure, you can tell; look at my face and head tilt- isn’t that the sweetest thing you’ve ever seen???

After being rescued, I was miserable alone in a cage at animal control. When I moved to a foster home, I was a happy camper and quickly acclimated to people, sounds and the comings and goings of my foster home. Ahhhh, this is where I belong - indoors and part of a family.

I love to cuddle and play, and I'm always up for a good nap. I suspect I will like older children and other animals, however, I have been homeless my entire life and haven’t spent too much time with humans. I am not fearful of humans, and I do like them a lot, especially when they feed and pet me! I am the type of cat who will like public displays of affection, but I am still learning what that all entails.

2. I have very good litter box manners; I have never made a mess that my foster parent had to clean up. I’m a big boy and will need a big litter box with a hood.
3. I’m sweet, affectionate and easy to take care of.

Now, this is what I’m looking for in an adopter:
1. People who want a cat to spend time with them with or without older kids.
2. People who don’t mind giving me some space from time to time (I can be independent).
3. A commitment to keep me indoors only. I should never be let outside; it can be dangerous for me.
5. A person to cuddle on the couch with. You can laugh when I roll over, or do an adorable mini-somersault after some petting.

If you’re looking for a very low-maintenance cat, and who is happy to just hang out and keep you company, I’m the perfect choice.
