Meet Ursula
Ursula is one of the infamous Waterbury22. She and her housemates came to our shelter after being dumped outside Waterbury Animal Control in the snow, in freezing temperatures, covered in their own excrement.
After a couple of months in foster care where she was given proper vet care, good food, and some much needed TLC, Ursula is ready for her forever home. She has lived with many other cats, and gets along fine with them. Ursula is a sassy but sweet girl who is learning to enjoy pets and chin rubs. She would be best suited for a home with adults or kids 12+ and at least one other kitty. NO dogs for Ursula!
When first rescued, Ursula was suffering from pyometra- an infection in her uterus that would have killed her if we had not saved her life that day. Thankfully she has made a full recovery and is ready for her forever home. Ursula is about 3-4 years old. She is now spayed, vaccinated, tested FeLV/FIV negative, and is microchipped. Ursula is current on flea/tick prevention.
To meet her, please visit our website www.HalfwayHomeRescue.org and submit an adoption application. Adoption donation $250.
