Meet Tuck

What foster mom has to say about me: "Tuck is a great cat who is ready to be your buddy! He was trapped from a cat colony when he was just a Cranky Crankpants feral kitten. Once I saw his cute lil face (even though it was a very angry face!) I couldn't let him go back outside. Fortunately, that decision has paid off--Tuck has flourished into a wonderful, confident, sweet, and playful cat. He is SO nice and is always up for some scritches. His meow is extremely high-pitched and adorable, especially during his zoomies. You can easily use treats to bribe him to love you/train him/etc., because he is very food motivated! He also has a beautiful long coat that will need to be brushed regularly to avoid painful matting.

He currently lives with some rowdy dogs, a toddler, and a few other cats. He loves rubbing on all of our dogs and wrestling with his buddies. Other than being somewhat unimpressed by the toddler (Tuck keeps his space, but isn't too bothered by the little demon!), he gets along well with everyone.

Tuck would really be a fantastic addition to almost any family, but especially one with a quiet-ish home! He wouldn't mind being the only pet, but also wouldn't mind snuggling with a dog or cat friend. His adopters just need to be patient with him after bringing him home--he's no longer feral by any means, but "formerly feral kitten" cats tend to be a little extra nervous when leaving their comfort zone. This just means he should be gradually integrated. This can be accomplished by keeping him in a bathroom, etc. for a little while he gets comfortable enough to explore his new place. Once he settles in, he is an amazing, affectionate cat that you can't help but love!

Tuck's adoption fee is $100, which helps our rescue cover the cost of his neuter, microchip, FeLV/FIV test (he is negative), dewormings, and flea treatment. Please go to https://www.orphanpawsproject.org/adoption-application to apply to meet/adopt this awesome guy!
