Meet Tom
After being found as a stray, Tom came to Furry Friends Refuge in search of a home of his very own. We suspect that Tom has never had the privilege of calling anything "home", and all he is hoping for this Christmas is for someone to give him a chance. When found, Tom created a bond with the person who found him and was loving and affectionate. But unfortunately our staff and volunteers have not been able to bring that side of Tom out.
The shelter can be a very scary place for animals, and Tom was often too nervous to come out from his corner during the day. He now has a foster who continues to show Tom that people aren't scary, but winning this boys heart has proved to be a challenge, but he continues to make progress each day. He has done well with other cats and would love a home with another four legged friend.
