Meet Tod
***Tod is experiencing an Extended Stay here at the shelter! So, in hopes of helping him find his forever home sooner his adoption fee has been reduced by 50% to only $30!
Tod is a 7 month old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations and microchipped!
Meet Tod! This handsome little guy came into the shelter as a very shy and under socialized kitten who has spent some time in a loving foster home while growing up and working on his love for humans. He has now begun to flourish and is ready to make the leap into his very own loving forever home! He is still a timid guy who will need lots of time, space, patience, and understanding while adjusting in a new home but the wait will be well worth it once you get the first snuggles from this lovey guy - and get a chance to hear his super loud purrs! Once he is comfortable with his surroundings, he is a typical energetic, playful, and goofy guy who spends his days chasing around his toys, jumping up and down his cat tree, and spending time with the other kitties in his foster home whether they are snuggling or getting into the occasional kitten mischief!
And like most growing boys, he LOVES yummy food and treats which are a great way to earn this guys trust! And don't hesitate to ask us for more ways to integrate a shy kitten into your home and set them up for as easy of a transition as possible.
Since Tod is a shy guy who will need some time and space to adjust in a new home and may startle easily from fast movements and loud noises, he is looking for a bit of a calmer and quieter home. He is looking for a family with older, respectful children at least 10 years of age or older who won't chase or startle him. He really relies on the comfort and companionship of the other kittens in his foster home and is much more outgoing with them by his side, so he is required to go to a home with another kitty. He may do ok with other respectful pets in the home too given very slow and proper introductions.
If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application
