I’m sorry- I’m just so scared right now and I know it shows in my pictures. It’s hard when your whole world is turned upside down, and you are 4 years old and don’t know what is happening. Hi, my name is Toby. I am a 4 year old male and I’m in my “hiding” and scared stage right now, as I just got to the shelter the end of September and everything is new and confusing and a little scary, as I don’t know why I’m here. Like many adult cats, who have had their world turned upside down, it’s a scary and confusing time. Even though I am hiding under my cat bed now, don’t let that fool you…. I am a sweet boy who enjoys petting and the staff/volunteers also picks me up, and it feels so good and makes me happy. I want to feel safe and secure and then my loving personality will come shining though, please just give me a chance. I am gentle and loving. I just want to get out of the cage and shelter into a loving quiet home. I do get along with other cats, not sure how I’d do with a friendly dog. I would like a home on the “quieter side, as you can probably gather. Please come meet me and bring me to your forever home for me..
