Meet TIPPER the TALKER, a beautiful soul with a unique story. She comes to us through Duffie’s Dames Animal Rescue, founded in honor of her late mama, a brave woman who served our country and was injured in Iraq. In September 2019, after years of service, TIPPER the TALKER’s mama passed away from her injuries, and in her honor, Duffie’s Dames has dedicated itself to finding perfect homes for animals just like TIPPER.

TIPPER the TALKER is a “next-to-you” kitty—she may not be a lap cat, but she will happily sit beside you, always near, always keeping you company. While she’s not in urgent need of a home, as she’s safe in our sanctuary, we are seeking that one perfect home where she can truly thrive. Her ideal family would include another male kitty who enjoys grooming and cuddling, as she has a soft spot for her feline brothers. While she can tolerate dogs, she prefers a quieter environment where she isn’t overwhelmed by barking.

If you’re someone who has a cozy spot on your couch or beside your favorite chair, and you’d love a quiet companion who enjoys sunny windows and peaceful moments, TIPPER the TALKER might be the perfect fit. She’s had a few potential homes over the years, but none have quite clicked, and we believe her forever family is still out there.

We follow a thorough adoption process to ensure it’s the right match for both the pet and the adopter, including phone conversations, meet-and-greets, and a transparent adoption contract. You should know she holds a special place in our hearts here at Duffie’s Dames Animal Rescue, which was founded in honor of her late mama, a remarkable woman who served our country with courage and compassion. TIPPER has been with us since her mama’s passing in 2019, and though she has found safety and comfort in our sanctuary, we believe there is still a forever home waiting for her.

TIPPER the TALKER is a gentle spirit who would be best suited for a home that understands and appreciates her unique personality. While she may not sit in your lap, she will faithfully sit beside you, content just to be near. Her peaceful nature makes her the perfect companion for quiet moments, and she would thrive in a household with another male kitty who enjoys grooming and snuggling with her.

We know adopting a pet is a big decision, and that’s why we’re committed to finding the perfect match. Our adoption process begins with a conversation to get to know you and your home. If it feels right for everyone, we schedule a meet-and-greet—sometimes bringing the kitty along, other times meeting without her to make sure it’s the best fit. From there, we move to our adoption questionnaire, and if all goes well, finalize the adoption with an official contract. We even provide some supplies to help with the transition.
