Meet Tiger Lily
Lily loves sitting in your lap and napping with you. This kitty gets attached to her humans, so she's likely to follow you all around the house. She will sit and watch TV with her human family, and in fact, her foster mom says that she has a preference for Modern Family reruns.
When she isn’t napping, she spends her day seeking out attention so that she can get cuddles and play. Her naps are often on the couch or next to the window. At night she loves sleeping in the bottom corner of her foster mom’s bed, next to her feet.
When her foster mom is cooking, she likes sitting on top of the fridge to watch, and will sit with her when she works. Lily loves pets, and it is easy for her to adapt to new people. Lily believes everything is a toy, intended for her personal use! She is especially crazy about toys she has to catch.
Lily does not appreciate being alone for long periods of time, so we hope to place her in a forever home with humans who spend a good deal of time at home.
Lily has always lived with other cats. Like most cats, Lily needs at least one feline companion. She would do well in a home with another young cat-friendly female.
We would love to place her in a home with our other cat, Duffi who would be a great companion for her.
If you decide to adopt Lily, her foster mom says that you shouldn't think twice about your choice - she is an "amazing" companion, and "any family would be so lucky to have her". Lily will bring pure joy to your home.
If you would like to meet and possibly adopt this amazing feline, please email info@chicagocatrescue.org or call 773/203-0215. No texts, please.
CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our Chicago foster families. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home.
At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone.
Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home.
Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, foster@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!
