Teddy is like a fine wine - only getting better with age! This lovely lady is not only gorgeous with her gray and peach speckled coat, but you couldn't ask for a better feline companion. Teddy is the ultimate lap cat, content to keep you company for hours with her soothing purrs and comforting presence or happily sleeping on your chest at night. She loves spending time with her person and is interesting in helping with whatever task is at hand. Other than lap-sitting, her interests include finding cozy, soft napping spots and watching bird/squirrel TV out a sunny window.
Teddy has lived with other cats in the past (and if fact we also have her sister available for adoption) but she can be a bully in some cases. While we don't believe she and her sister Pam are irrevocably bonded, they would be a great pair or Teddy would also be fine as your only princess.
When Teddy was surrendered to us by an owner who could no longer care for her, she was quite obese. She has lost several lbs while in our care with portion control, but still needs to lose a few more to return to a healthy weight so her new owner should be committed to helping her in this journey. She is 12 years old and recent bloodwork indicates that she is in good health.
