Ms Tana was sitting inside her maternal grandparents' house when she heard some loud mewing and thought, "I don't recognize that meow voice." So, she ran outside where she thought sound was coming from, and there I was - tiny, all alone, and scared, trying to "talk" to the other 2 cats I could see in the dining room window at front of house. I ran away when I saw her, but she quickly got a humane trap and set it with tuna inside, then went back into the house. I was watching, hidden at a safe distance, and could smell the tuna. I was so hungry that I approached the strange trap and started eating the bits of tuna left outside the trap. But I wanted more, and I could tell there was more inside the trap, so I tentatively walked inside to get to more food. When I was almost to the tuna, the trap closed with me securely inside. I sort of panicked and was trying to get out when Ms Tana came back outside and covered the trap completely, picked it up, and carried me into the house. She set up a little kitten apartment inside a bathroom, then carefully got me out of trap, wrapped in a hand towel. She gently pet me and talked to me and told me everything would be okay. Then she sat me in the floor with the tuna and I finished eating it, but was still hungry, so she got me a jar of plain chicken baby food. It was really yummy, and I ate almost all of it. She went back outside looking and listening for any other kittens or a mom cat, but none to be found. Best she could guess is that I had accidentally hitched a ride underneath a vehicle and somehow managed to bail without getting seriously injured or killed. Her grandparents' house is on a busy main road, so I was very lucky to end up where I did with a lady who will definitely take care of all my needs and try to get me into a tlc responsible, indoor only, furever cherished family member home. I will be getting vaccines, neutered, combo tested, and microchipped very soon in November. She has already put some flea prevention on me and dewormed me. I now have access to the master bedroom attached to my initial bathroom apartment. I have met a big orange and white boy who was trapped, neutered, and vaccinated and had some very extensive wounds treated, especially on the side of his face. He is lucky he survived his injuries. He was feral, but is trying to learn to trust. Sometimes he lets Ms Tana pet him now. He likes me. We communicate daily. I can even climb on top of his kitty condo cage now to visit up high. I LOVE the company of other cats, so would definitely like to be adopted into a home where I will have a feline friend to hang out with whenever I want to play or have a cat nap companion.
