Meet Tangerine (AKA Butternut)

They call me Tangerine, Mr. Tangerine Man, Butternut, Butterscotch, and even Butterball--but I don't care as long as they don't call me late for supper! I am one of those big, fluffy, mellow orange guys you may have heard about. I have thick, very soft, medium-long fur--and look at my impressive ear tufts! I also have paw tufts--I probably have some Maine Coon in my background. I chirp and trill when I'm excited, like at supper-time.

I'm a big guy at about 14 pounds. I have a very loud purr when people give me love. I love to be petted and brushed, and I even enjoy belly-rubs. I'm happy snuggling on a lap or just hanging out nearby. Break out a string toy and watch me chase it like a kitten! I am a young fellow, maybe two years.

I can be nervous in new places or with new people, but I adapt quickly. I get along with other cats, with proper introduction. Take me home and bring some bright orange sunshine into both of our lives!

I am neutered, vaccinated, chipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLv.
