Meet Tailor

Tailor -- like the skill, not the pop star -- is a beautiful tri-color girl ready for her forever family!

Tailor is the exact opposite of the stereotype tri color cat. She is sweet, tolerant, loving, cuddly, and never stops purring.

The sass only comes out when she thinks you waited too long to feed her! Then she'll talk and talk, telling you her opinions. Or if you have treats, she'll get chatty. Or if you pet her. Or if you look at her. Actually, I guess she's just opinionated all the time!

Tailor is SO loving and cuddly. She loves headbutts and scratches wherever and whenever you'll give them!

Tailor loves other cats, too. She gets along swimmingly with the resident kitties in her foster home. She chitters and headbutts them a second after meeting them, as if to say, "Hello! You're my new best friend!"

Tailor is a tripod. One of her back legs is short, from a genetic defect! It hinders her ability to jump, but she can still climb and play like everyone else!

Tailor was also a teen mom to two litters of kittens! One litter was a while back; the other was brought into the rescue with her. She raised five happy, healthy, chunky kittens -- Thimble, Backstitch, Scissors, Button, and Bobbin! (They're adoptable too, but Miss Tailor is fine moving out to her own forever family!)

When adopting a kitten, consider a second kitten to avoid "single kitten syndrome". Two kittens keep each other busy, get into less trouble, are better socialized and can keep each other company while you're gone.

When introduced properly, most cats and kittens adjust well to children and other pets in the home. It's critical that cats have a safe place to retreat to if interactions become overwhelming and that all early interactions are well supervised. If you already have a cat, please talk to us about how to introduce them to each other successfully.

All our cats and kittens are litter box trained, spayed or neutered, up-to-date on shots and worming and have been treated for fleas. They also are microchipped with a complimentary registration fee.

The fee for all our cats and kittens is $175 plus tax, with a $50 discount for adopting a second cat or kitten.

If you're interested in adopting, please complete an application at www.catspawjamas.org.

If you're "just browsing", consider making a donation to our rescue via our website to help us continue to save cats and kittens at risk of death or homelessness.
