Taco Domestic Short Hair Wells, ME

Taco is a beautiful 6-month-old tiger kitten with a heart full of potential. Taco was found as a stray alongside his friends Salsa and Queso. While Queso has already found his forever home, Taco and Salsa are still waiting for theirs. Taco is often found curled up on a cat bed that he shares with his friend Salsa, a 13-month-old female tortie. Good thing Salsa doesn't mind being squished by Taco. Taco also loves to cuddle up next to his new friends Montana (an incredibly lovely and chill tuxedo cat) and Gingersnappy (a curious orange & white cat with a cute smile).

Taco and Salsa are both still learning to trust humans, and they can be skittish around people. However, Taco has started engaging more during playtime, and it's clear that he's gaining confidence as time goes on. While his socialization is still a work in progress, Taco is eager to learn and grow in a patient and loving home.

Taco will need a family who understands that building trust takes time. With gentle care and patience, Taco is sure to become the loving and playful companion he’s meant to be.

Our policy at Safe Haven is that kittens must be adopted in pairs since they are usually bonded to their litter mates. An exception can be made if there is an uneven number of kittens in two separate families, they will be blended together, or if the adoptive home has a kitten who needs a companion. These kittens would love an active and attentive family who understand the joys and challenges that come with kittens. Respectful children who understand how to treat and handle fragile kittens are welcome.
