Meet the diva of the community cats, Sylvia. This fiery 2 and a half year old is looking for a home where she can rule the roost. A little shy at first, she soon shows her true personality: an unfriendly girl. She will befriend other cats, but only once they have passed her tests. Often aloof, she can be convinced to fraternize (reluctantly) with others with lots of treats, and may even let you pet her head, after you've washed your hands of course. Sylvia would prefer a home without small children and dogs.


Visiting hours at the shelter are Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon until 4 pm,

Adoption Fee is based on age:
· Kittens ( 8 weeks through 7 months): $200
· Cats (7 months through 7 years old): $150
· Senior Cats (8 years and older): $100
· Senior for Seniors (Seniors 65+ adopting over 7 years): $50

The adoption fee for adult cats includes the following: spay or neuter and procedure; rabies vaccination; distemper vaccination, microchip; and combo test of FIV (feline AIDS) and FeLV (feline leukemia). Other medical care provided might include treatments for fleas, ear mites, dental work or infections or other medical conditions. Additional vaccinations and medical care (including kittens Rabies shots if adopted at under 12 weeks of age) will be the responsibility of the adopter.
