Hi, my name is Sweet Pea and I am a black female kitten born 6/01/24. I am sweet and gentle and love to hang out with my foster people. I am playful, but I never play rough. I love spending my downtime cuddled with or next to my favorite people. I get along well with other dogs, cats, and every human I’ve met. I already know how to use the litter robot. I prefer clay clumping litter; otherwise, I may have accidents on the carpet. I’m a very shy girl and need someone that will be patient with me to come out of my shell. I’m wary of strangers even though my foster mom socialized me from very young age - doctors think I was born this way. But once I come out of my shell, I’m super sweet, as my name suggests! I love to cuddle and love to be held like a baby. I promise if you give me a chance and some time, I’ll be the best kitten you have ever known!

I am hypothyroid, which means that my body does not produce enough thyroid hormone. I will need thyroid medications lifelong, but my medication is relatively inexpensive and my foster mom says that I am a little champ at taking my pills, especially when they’re wrapped in pill pockets so I can’t taste the bitterness of them! I will also need my adopter to take me to the vet for check-ups and bloodwork to make sure my thyroid stays healthy. My foster mom can answer any questions about my care if you are interested in meeting me!

My foster mom likes to call me “the sweetest of the peas” and I live up to that name!
