They say there is someone for everyone, and there has to be someone for this older gal who, frankly, is very particular in her likes and dislikes (but, hey, who isn't!). Susanna dearly wants to be an only cat, and she wants to depend upon and love someone who gives her her favorite treats (and there are several she has in mind). Her delicate face and careful movements also tell you what she likes: ample space and time to be herself, super-soft beds (preferably at least one up high), and a gentle, soft voice telling her that she's beautiful. She came to us very shy, perhaps because her owner had passed away and she no longer had the home she'd known for many years. Susanna still plays her cards close to her vest and would feel most at ease with an experienced adopter in a peaceful, adults-only home, away from hustle and bustle. She would love to be your one and only pet and never worry about competing for your patience, understanding, and affection. Given time, she'll sit by you on the couch with her tiny chirps and quiet purrs, let you pet her delicately--and then you'll know you have won her heart!
