Rise, shine and hold your head high! My name is Sunflower and I'll bring warmth and brightness to any home. Born on August 6, 2014, I’m a senior lady with a heart full of love to give. I enjoy being petted and brushed, but I’ll let you know when it’s time for some attention. I’m quite independent and appreciate my alone time in a cozy house or hut where I can retreat when I need a little peace. When I’m ready, I’ll emerge from my sanctuary to bask in your affection. I am very playful, I love spring and pipecleaners. I also loves rolling around on the cool ground. A quiet home with plenty of spaces for me to claim as my own would be ideal. I’m okay with other cats as long as they respect my space and don’t get too close for comfort, but I would do best as the only cat. If you’re looking for a companion who knows what she wants and appreciates a loving, calm environment, I could be the perfect addition to your home. I’m ready to bloom in a place where I can shine.

**I am FeLV positive. I will need to be monitored for weight, appetite, activity level, elimination habits, appearance of the mouth and eyes, and behavior and have regular vet visits if there are changes.
